By no means do I agree. How an Android does something is entirely different than how iOS does it, even if it doing the same thing. Just because Samsung is paying Apple to emulate the features of an iPhone, does not necessarily mean that iPhone implements the features better. Apple just did it first and patented the concept.

It still comes down to personal preference.

Having had both phones for several years...... I don't really have a preference.

I had an iPhone 7 until about a month ago. I've had most the iPhones before that for personal use. I currently have a Galaxy 8 for work and started with the S5 I believe.

I've always said I like the screen and viewing of the Android but prefer the texting/typing on an iPhone. Not much has changed for me in that regard.

Still Iphone for me. Although I haven't owned an Android for several years now, every one I owned, while I started out loving them, my satisfaction with the phone just diminished over time, and I ended up eventually just hating the phone. Iphone just work, and I can't see myself ever not owning an Iphone.

What did you hate about the others?

There were just a lot of little things that just added up. First, every android phone I had, ended up having problems with dropped calls. That’s never been an issue with iPhones on the same networks. Also, my android phones screens haven’t been as responsive, and the iPhone UI is just cleaner and easier to use. For whatever reason, Androids just don’t seem (to me at least) to be as intuitive and easy to use.

I've had both over the years and iPhone is just better overall, IMO. I can't imagine an Android phone being "cool enough" to sway me away from iPhone.

Some of the newer Android phones look really nice. That said I can't imagine ever buying one. I hate the android platform and I think the Samsung, LG, ect products are just not as well made.

And Samsung copied off of Apple to produce a product. It always comes down to personal preference but I don’t ever want to hear anyone else ever make any claims that Apple copied off of Samsung. Samsung’s check to Apple proves that theory wrong and don’t get me started on the glass that all these phones use.

Don't think I've ever said that Apple copied anything from Samsung. Didn't find any posts in this thread that did, either. However, Apple would have never increased screen size had Samsung not done so first. #pokethebear :D

Best glass you'll find anywhere!

I guess it’s a good thing Apple let Samsung have some glass. :lol2:

Didnt both copy some things blackberry was doing back in the day, just saying.

Difference is, Blackberry didn't patent the concept or could not get the concept patented. Apple had better patent attorneys. ;)

My understanding was Blackberry didnt have a US patent, but had a European version of a patent.

Point being they all do the same things for the most part. Im an anti Apple person, never had any apple product. My wife is nothing but Apple. Everybody wins in our house.
