I have really heard good things about this kid.

JJ will probably start for JV and play a few minutes for varsity early on.

Unfortunately, Ryan Cooper broke his non-shooting wrist in practice and will be out til after the winter break.

Both players will be instrumental over the next few years with Jerryd Jones, Jordan Davis, and Ronte Owens who are sophomores this season.

There is some good talent in the rest of the freshmen class as well for Clark County.

Dalton Perkins I believe. The 8th grade has a lot of talent

I think I saw this kid at Hoop Dreams tryouts last week. This kid has some talent. I thought he was one of the best looking freshmen at tryouts. Very impressed.

Allen for PC should be the top freshman in the 10th region next year. Pretty sure the kid dropped 30+ points in either a district or regional game a few weeks ago.

Also not to start any rumors but I know that Garrison from Mason apparently has some NKY connections and is close to some players from Holmes. I've heard he could possibly relocate in the future but until I hear more I'll just assume this rumor has no legs. I've watched him play a couple times though and he is definitely a difference maker and has a pretty mature body for his age.

That's Awesome, really hope he makes the team and has a great summer!! I know AAU done wonders for Isaiah Garrison, and ready to get this summer started!!!

Sorry, this was in response to PurplePrides post about Dalton Perkins!!

Isaiah plays for a AAU team in Lexington, and his father lives in Northern KY, but has no plans of relocating!!

Masons 8th is loaded.

Dunaway boys are talented, Garrison is very talented.

Lots of depth too, Dorian Henry's little brother, a couple physical Bigs, could be a great class!

Did these kids and talent play on the HS team this year? The reason I'm asking their 8th grade team that I seen play this year was the worst I've seen at Mason in the last 5 or more years. They only won 1 game I think in their conference.

I believe when this thread started in the summer these kids were going into their freshman year, which they just completed. I think Garrison and Perkins were freshman this past season(someone correct this if wrong), I don't know what the freshman and JV records were this past year, but freshman lost first game in regional tournament,. 8th grade is down, 7th is good though.

I brought this thread back up in search of the kid from Mason County that I saw last weekend. I knew BGP wouldn't let me down. :D

Garrison and Perkins were both freshman this past season. Garrison didn't play freshman though, he started JV and played Varsity. Not sure of the freshman's record, but believe the JV was 24 n 2 or 3.

Mason County's freshman lost around 6-8 games and got beat to Clark Co in their regional opener.

Stephen Cordle at Augusta. 6'6" and 230 lbs. and still growing. One of the few eras we won't have a 5 guard lineup......He has great potential with great grades and attitude. Stir in an offense that runs through him and we'll stay competitive for awhile.
