I had a neighbor in Indiana that was a serial killer (angel of death type), maybe they need to ask him what he used.

More and more I see capital punishment as a form of vengeance, not justice. The two threads on this subject support this.

One of the articles about this topic had a graphic about the number of executions by state since 1973 (or whatever year the death penalty was brought back). It said KY only had three. Is that correct? Seems like we have had a few more than that. I know KY is nothing like TX but only three?

I will be glad to do the thumbs down to any baby/toddler/young kid child molester and murderer. As a matter of fact i will do it all for free.

I looked at two or three list and they all only list 3...I'm like you I thought there would have been more.

Nope...just three in Kentucky:

Harold McQueen, Jr. was executed in the electric chair on July 1, 1997.

Edward L. Harper Jr. was executed by lethal injection on May 25, 1999.

Marco Allen Chapman was executed by lethal injection on November 21, 2008.

Clayton Lockett had recently been released from prison when he and his cousins went to a man's house that he said owed him money. There in front of his 9 month old son they tied the man up and beat him. Somewhere along the way two young ladies by pure chance came by the house. One girl who was later raped by the three went to the door and was drug in and hit in the face by a shotgun, then with a gun to her head was forced to call the second girl into the house where she was also hit in the face with a shotgun. The women were then duct taped and that's when the first one was raped.

 

Lockett and his crew then drove the two girls the man and his nine month old son to another town where he said he was going to kill them all. The murder victim was evidently shot when she wouldn't give Lockett the keys to her truck and the alarm code to it, he shot her twice and buried her.

 

So I'm not too upset if he had some discomfort...

Personally, I'd be for the option of:

 

-A stump with a body part(s) (think here) nailed to it.

-Rusty knife

-Douse the stump with gasoline, set it on fire.

Thats the biggest problem IMO. Has to be 100% that guy. And in a lot of cases it is.

I thought I had read Victor Taylor died not too long ago due to some type of health complication, diabetes or something? Or am I thinking of his accomplice who was spared the death penalty due to testifying against Taylor? I don't recall.

 

Taylor and his accomplice were the two guys who robbed and killed the two Trinity students back in 84 when they got lost trying to find Manual Stadium for a Trinity football game. The school day, all Trinity students were called into the gym where representatives from the Louisville Police Department and Trinity counselors talked to the student body. I have to believe that was a difficult rest of the school year. Not difficult behavior wise, just overall school mood.

Kinda surprised California still has the death penalty. I wonder if it is a case where it is legal, just never used recently. If Charles Manson wasn't executed, what does it take to be executed in California??
