One of the best fighters in the world. I just don't think people understand the talent and athletic ability of a world-class level boxer. I do, but boxing and fighting or MMA are two totally different things. His athleticism or hand/foot speed has no bearings on his takedown defense or wrestling ability. For me this is what it all boils down to, Ronda outclasses him as a grappler and that is the biggest advantage for either one of them in a MMA fight. A boxing match, foot race, jump rope contest, whatever else you want to name I'll go Floyd everytime. But when it comes down to an MMA bout wrestling is king and the best wrestlers usually destroy the best boxers. If not for that I agree with most everybody, but I just can't see money stopping the takedown and that's what it's all about.

But put Rajon Rondo on a softball field against Jennie Finch or on a tennis court with Sabrina Williams or in a three point shooting contest with whoever the best female shooter is and he would/could lose to any of those...but not lose in basketball one on one. No he'll get some punches off, to the top of her head, but with his history he'll probably break his hand on the top of her head as she shoots in for the take down below waist level. If he does hit her, so what it's not like he's shown that he has got knock out power. Maybe he does, but he only knocks somebody out about once every 5 years. Everybody's entire defense it that he's too fast. Well is he going to square up with her or run from her the entire fight. She has to take it to the ground as she can't stand and punch with him, so every time they get close or clinch she's going to go for the take down. On his back he'd be in trouble. Maybe he does win, but it's crazy to think a skilled wrestler couldn't beat a great boxer in a wrestling match especially when they are similar size and strength.
