In Layman's Terms.....he doesn't get hit when he fights. Now, why would a quicker, more athletic, stronger world class boxer who also is above the expert level in defense and boxing all of sudden forget everything he has learned on not getting hit and end up in the grasp of woman MMA fighter? The only way she can beat him is if she seduces him, goes back to his place and when his pants are around his ankles she puts him on the ground. June 11, 201412 yr Author I'd be willing to bet she's never taken a punch from someone like Floyd. Floyd is a boxer, the World Champ...I get that. But you guys have absolutely no respect for Rousey...just because she is a woman. If we were discussing a top MMA Male vs Money at similar weight I think all would realize that in a MMA FIGHT Money would be at a great disadvantage. Floyd hasn't shown the power to knock anyone out for most of his career, and never with the "One Punch is all it would take" power that most seem to think he has that he has NEVER shown. Could Floyd catch her with a punch and stop her, sure he could. But by the same token she is a life long Judo fighter and now the most highly trained female fighter in MMA. She trains daily with people that out weight her by 50 pounds or more and throws them around and to the ground with ease. SO just as Floyd could catch her coming in on him, she could slip the punch and then use her strength to submit him rather quickly.

June 11, 201412 yr I don't like RRR one bit , but she's stronger than most men , and in an MMA fight would destroy Money in the first round . Its two entirely DIFFERENT sports . They are barely related . RRR takes him down and he never ever stands again until after he taps . And I really really really don't like RRR. She bull rushes him , double leg , down goes Money never to rise again. She's not a typical female guys .
June 11, 201412 yr The main contrast in this thread is understanding the difference between "boxing" and "fighting". More importantly boxing in contrast to MMA. Boxers never translate to MMA they get punished every time they try. James Toney being the most recent, a 50 some Randy Couture DOMINATED him. So Floyd is a flashy boxer, so he is super fast and the best counter puncher of all time. So he is undefeated, (even if he has dodged some fights), it just doesn't matter once you step inside the octagon or an MMA event. Those MMA cats are different animals, boxers care about money, fame and flash (Floyd), MMA fighters just want to hurt you or be the baddest person in the planet.
June 11, 201412 yr I feel vindicated. I spoke with a guy who fights MMA and he agreed with me that Floyd would defeat Rousey easily. He said, "I think people are forgetting that he is still a man and she is woman and that there is no way she would quick enough to gain any kind of offense on Floyd." I'll take his expertise on the matter. He also said she's running away from Cyborg Santos and won't fight her but she can beat Floyd? :lol2:
