Pittsburgh twice and Denver late in the season. Tough ending.

It was brutal either way IMO. They have 6 home games by Nov 6th. That is great for attending. Only two games in December at home. It has been just the opposite the last few years. They also have 3 straight at home Ravens, Jags and Browns. The 3 game road trip is tough. 3 of last 4 Steelers twice and Broncos whew! 2 at home, though.

Dalton will need to win some games on his own to get this team back into the playoffs. Brutal schedule.

This is just totally unacceptable to me. There's absolutely no reason any two teams should have to play each other twice in a four week period. Listen, how hard would it to be to schedule 3 division games in the first 8 games, and the other 3 in the last 8 games. They've already said they want the end of the season to "mean something", and have moved division games to the final couple of weeks...how hard would it to be to schedule the others in weeks 3-8 or so? Stupid, IMO.

Also, I'll say that having bye weeks as early as week #4, is also silly. There's no reason you can't give everyone a week off sometime between weeks 7-10. Split the division up, if you need to, and then rotate who gets the "early" bye each year. I really can't see it being that hard.

Sure you'd have 8 teams off, for each of the four weeks...so, in essence you're losing 4 games those weeks. But, right now, they'll have 3 games missed for three weeks this upcoming season. So, what's one more?

I'm surprised that, for a league that covets parity, that they blatantly spread the bye weeks so far apart.

We all knew it would be tough but wow.

What I think is really difficult is the last seven weeks of the season we have five road games with only two home games. Add to that the two home games are against the Steelers and Broncos.

We have to start strong.

Steelers will be a cakewalk. I wouldn't worry about those 2.

Steelers host the Browns who are loaded and 4 days later go to Baltimore to start the season. No favors from the scheduling gods there. they'll be lucky to enter week 3 with a full roster.

Last season for Dalton with a loaded roster before he gets his raise. Hopefully he can make it work.

No one wanted to play the Steelers at the end of last year so talk to the hand.

He'll have his raise before the Ravens' game -- bet on that.

I am just going to say it, I think you have inside information.

And Brandon Phillips is still a Red, so there's that.
