Alot of the smaller schools have been winning the past games in the other districts such as Lee,hazard and cordia and even though Wolfe is not big they are bigger than Jackson City and i love the smaller schools so i hope the tigers do make history and win there first title in 72 years.

I think Jackson may fall behind in the early going but then re-group and begin to set the pace for the game. In a run and gun, Jackson will win and I think we will see a fast paced game even though Wolfe will control the tempo in the first quarter. Jackson has to have their key players all involved. If it gets into a run and gun game, which both teams usually like to play, I think the advantage will be to Jackson City. Wolfe would actually be better off if they slowed the game down a little, but I don't think it's in their blood to do that.

The wolves will win if stamper can hold Howard under 25, and if Gilbert can score 20 in the paint and get his usual 13+ rebounds.

Stamper would have to put 3 great games together if he played great in this game. I don't think you can play as inconsistant as Stamper has this season and then play super in the playoffs. I look for a let down from Gilberts supporting cast and Jackson City wins its first District title in quite a while.

Cant believe its ben that long with some talented players going through that school. I know Jackson has been known for breaking records on thumping a Millitary school in 1992 like 215-around 40. To score that many points some one had to be able to hit some shots eventhought they weren't playing heavy defense.

Thanks Big Game Player but I have to advise you of this situation. None of the JC players, coaches, staff, administration, fans, ect... wish to speak of those records. It was done several years ago under a coaching staff that no longer exist and does not reflect the hospitality and sportsmanship of this team and school. Yes it is a record, but it's not something anyone brags about. Thanks for the complement though, there have been some talented players come through JC but there was not much of a supporting cast to help those players. This years team plays hard and plays together and has a few talented players to go along with it.

Oh, I know you were not being negative it's just that a couple times this year it was brought up and some folks took it and ran with it in an attempt to make the team lose support. Thanks again, and I think this years Jackson team has more chemistry than those teams of the past.

Agreed, a couple of years ago a player went through and was known to be a decent player but didnt always keep his head. I'm not for sure what his name was but that team ad potential but no chemistry at all. Gotta give Jackson's coach and Team Captains credit for leading this team in a positive direction with endless possibilities.

Pretty much a toss up RE which Wolfe & Jackson team shows up. I do think that Wolfe has been playing smarter and that Jackson simply can't stop Gilbert in the paint. Wolfe gets it down the floor consistently = Wolfe wins. Not knocking JC at all, in fact I'm rooting for 'em. Jackson's seniors are class kids who have received little recognition.
