I don't know if it's a factor but are the women able to get into a half court set earlier due to the fact they have no 10 second rule?

No clue. Don't watch women's ball. I just know they have a 30 second clock. The guys should have 24.

They aren't going to give up 90 seconds of spots every half...

But if you make the timeouts longer you don't have any lost time... Which is what I said

No, it isn't. You proposed replacing 3 minutes a half with 90 seconds...

Reduce the timeouts - not gonna happen; at least not the media timeouts. Advertisers would go crazy.

10-second rule - leave it the way it is. The offense is already penalized if they're getting d'd up - by having to spend a timeout.

Widening the lane - fine the say it is.

Don't score on a charge. No on the NBA continuation rule.

Finally - don't monkey around with the shot clock. Heck - I liked it when there was no shot clock. I'd rather see underdogs with a slim lead make the big dogs play some defense.

I would like to see some international rules. 4 ten minute quarters, international rules on goaltending, 8 seconds to get the ball to half court, international lanes.

I always thought they were a minute and a half not three.

If teams were actually running offense with the 35 second shot clock that would be one thing. They are not, they just throw the ball around the perimeter and make a move with under 10 seconds.

Which a shorter shot clock would make even more chaotic. This would just be a move to help the big dogs and give the underdogs slimmer chances of pulling off an upset.

I LOVED watching the Princetons of the world run their offense.

But Princeton at least RAN their offense, no one stood still they just cut, cut, cut looking for an open man and wear the D down. Some teams just like to stand around out top and run clock down with lazy outside passes never even looking to score, just running clock down. I love Princeton but can't stand slow down at all.
