April 5, 201412 yr The Reds may be lucky to win 70 games this year. The one thing they had the last couple of years, despite the lack of timely hitting at times, was a strong bullpen to go with a solid starting staff. With the top 3 from the bullpen out for an indefinite period of time and not a lot of hitting, you almost have to expect that the Reds may get buried the 2 months of the season. The big question is going to be how effective Broxton, Marshall and especially Chapman will be once they're off the DL.

April 5, 201412 yr Price blows his first game with very little help from Votto. Terrible decision to throw to second. If Hoover gets an out, he may be OK. But why Price did not leave in LeCure is beyond me. The closer role is so overrated. LeCure would mow the bottom of the order up after a quick 8th. Team is in big trouble!!!!
April 5, 201412 yr Author 1) LeCure threw 9 pitches in the 8th? Why did he not leave him in? 2) Someone has to let Votto know to go to 1st on that bunt. 3) Hoover is a Major League pitcher. How in the hell can he not throw strikes when he knows the dude is bunting? 4) This is going to be a very long year if the bullpen doesn't get healthy, and quick.

April 6, 201412 yr Listened to some of the postgame. Already on Price for leaving the lineup too static. Already on Hamilton, saying that you need to platoon (and he didn't even play).
