The foundation members of this great site were together, and while it was sad, it was also special. Birdsfan's parents were so gracious, so kind, and are such special people.

March 26, 201412 yr Author Rockmom needs to carry one more item in that humongous thing she calls a purse. Some double-sided sticky tape to keep her personal belongings from falling all over the floor. Never seen someone use one cell phone to call the cell phone that fell under the table before. I thought I was going to faint from the blood rushing to my head so many times trying to find stuff.
March 26, 201412 yr ..... Not to be overly sappy at 7:30 in the morning, but the dinner last night (15 or so folks) after the visitation was very cool. People from all over the place, as far away as Tampa, sitting around a table talking and sharing stories like they've known each other forever. Talking about topics ranging from Birdsfan, to Beflry tennis, to South Florida, to a million other topics. Just a very cool evening, both horribly sad at times, and yet, incredibly uplifting as well. Run To State, you're a special person, thanks for putting the impromptu dinner together. Dave made a great choice in choosing a best friend.
