The winner of this game won't win the National title IMO. It's UF's or MSU's to lose. UL was way better last year and I think UF and MSU are better than UL of last year. If UK wins I like the chances to get to the final 4 but Michigan is tough.

I think both teams would/should be underdogs against Michigan, assuming they knock off UT.

 

Michigan is a terrible matchup for this Kentucky team, and have so many weapons on the offensive end, I think it would be a very tall task to knock them off.

 

I also think Arizona is getting overlooked. They're just going about their business quietly out West.

Honestly though Arizona really won't have to play anyone till the elite 8. I'm not sold on SDState.

Florida won't have to until the Final Four. Michigan won't have to until the Elite 8 either.

Although I strongly dislike that school approx. 70 miles west of Lexington, home of The University in Kentucky I am picking the uh...ug, cough, cough, ug....Cards to win.

I do absolutely believe that U.K. can win this game, especially with the way they have brought everything together. I just believe with U.L.'s experience, leadership still in tact from last seasons championship team that will carry them to the win down the stretch. I think that it should be a close game. I picked WSU last weekend to beat U.K. and was thrilled to be wrong, I hope that's the case late Friday night.

If the lose to UL I won't be that upset, they made it to the sweet 16 which no one said they could do. I can handle losing to UL in the sweet 16, at least you made a run and beat someone. Last years loss was a low point in Cals tenure. A loss here doesn't hurt it at all. So really it's not even comparable...

This UK team was preseason #1 and I had to go to Rupp myself to make sure #9 wasn't already hanging, there were 40-0, one shot away from beating the #1 team in the country, and beat a team that was previously undefeated. If they lose, to their archival, in a year where they've already beaten them without Randle playing the second half . . . losing this game would be HUGE let down.

Lol no it wouldn't, it would stink but seed wise UK is the underdog, technically they are supposed to lose. Losing to Robert Morris made UK a national laughing stock, louis to UL doesn't even move the needle...
