hoops5
So from the Cov Cath National Anthem thread, we learned that Getslow was in the Trinity quartet. I think Clyde also mentioned that he belted out some tunes back his Conner days. Anyone else? Let's have a BGP roll call of high school choir and band members. Did they have Roadies in high school? Sounds like a Varsity letter opportunity.

nkypete
I sang in a now defunct a cappella men's choir at my parish. Definitely not one of the stud singers.
mcpapa
Choir and band weren't cool when I was in high school. Fortunately, that's not the case at many schools nowadays. Daughter parlayed high school choir, participation in school musicals, 3 appearances at all-state choir and private voice lessons into 40K in vocal music scholarship money over the course of 4 years at Georgetown College. rockmom
In grade school I was a descant in our church choir at Most Blessed Sacrament. I was lead soprano in our Glee Club in high school and soloist at times. I used to sign the national anthem at our home games, and sang once at the girls LIT. One of my most cherished moments was my senior year of high school when our club performed at the J.A. Festival of Christmas Trees. It's the only performance my dad ever got to see because of his work schedule. I sang White Christmas solo a capella. It was our closing number. When I found my dad after the show, he was crying. ColonelCrazy
I'm a former member of the Covington Catholic Chamber Choir back when our only appearances were at nursing homes. Now they're singing at Rupp and producing CD's.
