March 20, 201412 yr I sang in a now defunct a cappella men's choir at my parish. Definitely not one of the stud singers.
March 20, 201412 yr Choir and band weren't cool when I was in high school. Fortunately, that's not the case at many schools nowadays. Daughter parlayed high school choir, participation in school musicals, 3 appearances at all-state choir and private voice lessons into 40K in vocal music scholarship money over the course of 4 years at Georgetown College.

I used to sign the national anthem at our home games, and sang once at the girls LIT. One of my most cherished moments was my senior year of high school when our club performed at the J.A. Festival of Christmas Trees. It's the only performance my dad ever got to see because of his work schedule. I sang White Christmas solo a capella. It was our closing number. When I found my dad after the show, he was crying.

March 20, 201412 yr I'm a former member of the Covington Catholic Chamber Choir back when our only appearances were at nursing homes. Now they're singing at Rupp and producing CD's. :lol:
