I will be kind and say that it is still early.

Main goal of Spring Ball at Highlands is to get lots of reps in for each and every kid and this yr is not any different than any other.

 

Some new position kids, some new techniques and some new looks that I will not go into detail because of obvious reasons.

Highlands into their 7th spring practice today. Kids are looking good. Lots of reps for lots of kids. Text just came out saying Birds will be scrimmaging Cincy St X at their place on Aug. 22. Looks like schedule is complete. Looking for Micheal Grahm to confirm schedule.

No, My understanding is they will scrimmage both. And Shelby Jones is new defensive coordinator on Varsity.

Two scrimmages are permitted by the KHSAA.

 

Trinity, followed by Cincinnati St X would be two great opponents to get the Birds ready for the season.

So, you can scrimmage twice and still get a bye during the regular season?
