So what, someone shot it out of the sky and no one noticed?

Probably a bomb and if they are flying over an ocean, who is going to be around to see it explode?

Maybe Mt Ref would have saw it if he was doing Contrail Investigations at the time in Southern Asia

Went up in millions of pieces in mid air.

You would think debris would be floating in the ocean? "Seat cushions can be used as flotation devices in the event of a water landing". Man I fly too much!

There is probably a good deal of debris left if they can find it at sea. As days go on it will get smaller. I think they will find something but it could take another day or up to weeks to find. They don't know where it exploded over if it did, or where it crashed at if it did.

It's like getting in a car a driving a region of the US for a downed plane in some sense.

According to the Washington Post some of the passengers' smartphones will still ring instead of going straight to voicemail and some of them are still connected to QQ which is an online IM service...

That would seem to eliminate a wreck or a bomb....

Makes no sense. Their phones are still on and haven't died? Or, they were able to charge them but not make calls, texts...etc.?

Yeah that doesn't add up. The phones would easily be dead by now.

What are they going to do with a plane? Grand Theft Air? You're not landing it at an airport without anyone noticing. If they pulled that off, greatest theft ever....

It blew up or crashed into the ocean. Only two feasible scenarios.

It would certainly need fuel by now and stopped at a gas station somewhere if it's intact.

Sounds like a highjacking to me now. Transponders and other tracking equipment may have been intentionally turned off and the plane was 100's of miles from where it was expected to have been.

I still think the two missing passport guys from Iran are involved

If Zoolander had killed the Malaysian Prime Minister like he was supposed to, none of this would have happened....
