I can't believe the scorebook error hasn't been discussed yet. Maybe sumoroyal can give us the low down on what happened when Chism checked into the game in the first half.

^agreed but one can only wonder how it would have affected the momentum at that point in the game Brossart gets a couple free throws (which they were not hitting on that night) and the ball. Potential 4-5 point swing at the time. Could have been a game changer. :idunno:

The refs have to sign the books. When I have been responsible for the book I double check?

The official eligibility sheet for post-season play is the roster posted on the KHSAA website, which is on the internet.

 

If the player was on the eligibilty sheet as one number but had a number change for the game, it seems that should have been reported to the official scorer.

 

Sumo was correct in taking the roster from the KHSAA site.

My point of bringing it up is that the officials handled it wrong. Pretty simple rule that any official working postseason should know.
