When it comes down to it... Sumo has proven time and time again that he is much more on top of things than everyone else in the building. Remember when the 9th region crew let Prewitt play with 5 fouls against Pendleton. Sumo was right. Everyone else was wrong.

I can't argue with northern Ky preps. It's a 100 against 1 arguement.

Brossart might be top 5 in region. Might!

Brossart beat Mason head to head, beat Harrison head to head, split with Campbell. So the results would seem to move them to at least third on your list. Unless you choose to ignore results?

No one is piling on, I saw a stupid post and pointed it out. Most of the time on BGP, we like posts like your first one to be based on results, stats or something tangible. Yours obviously was not, and several posters have pointed that out. If you don't like it, make posts with some validity.

I learned a long time ago that you can't judge a team by just watching them one time. You look at MoCo when they played GRC in District or even in the game at GRC or against E-town. Then you look at how they played against Wayne Co. You would get two totally different opinions of them....just saying.

Brossart had 1 good win against a Mason co team at home who lost to Bach High in District play. Please tell me who Brossart beat other than that?

They beat every team you ranked higher than them except Moco.

They beat Harrison Co and split with Campbell Co. Their second best win this year may have been DeSales. Not a Murderer's Row, but wins over 3 of the other top 4 teams in the region.

I think you can look at things in multiple ways.

Based only on region results over the course of the year it would probably be:

1. Montgomery Co.

2. Bishop Brossart

3. Mason Co.

4. Campbell Co.

5. Harrison Co.

 

How I would rank them:

1. Montgomery Co.

2. Mason Co.

3. Campbell Co.

4. Bishop Brossart

5. Harrison Co.

 

If you were to base things on who would have had the best chance to beat Montgomery Co in the region tournament:

1. Mason Co.

2. GRC

3. Campbell Co.

4. Harrison Co.

5. Bishop Brossart.
