correct... I worded it goofy... I meant to say "Cooper" plugged into where Ryle is this year... CCH has Ryle first this year....

But have NCC waiting in the wings.

Whoever emerges from the bottom bracket -- probably Holmes -- will have a bit of an advantage in the final. Will play NewCath-CovCath winner one day after the winning Cath team will have expended much emotion and energy in the semi game. By the way, might we see a standing-room-only crowd Sunday at BOK?

They can't be to awful they beat both teams that represent the 33 district beat Conner by 13 at Conner then only lose to Holmes by 11 an then next beat Ryle in double ot. Did what they needed to do in districts and beat a newport team that was ranked any where from 7 to 10 in Nky all year, so I wouldn't call them awful give them some credit for what they have done.

How did Highlands get into the regional tournament? Hard to believe, they were awful.

Man this is going to be a fun regional. I would think NCC has to be the favorite. CCH and Holmes are definite contenders, and Dixie is the dark horse. The winner will have earned their trip to Rupp.

Highlands was only down 5 to Holmes with 3 min left in the game, beat Conner and Ryle as well. They are playing pretty good basketball but still lack size. Hill hurt them in the first game and Chames was quiet. They will need a perfect game and some luck to knockoff Holmes but i dont expect a running Clock.

 

NCC better not take the Cru lightly but i expect them to advance and beat CovCath on the neutral floor in Semis. Dixie should get by Conner and lose to Holmes. I expect a Holmes vs NCC final with the Breds getting the monkey off their back and finally winning the 9th.

Will tickets include...rumors floating that clearing BOKC after first games. Never heard of that.

Include both games.

I love the regional tournament. Best money each year ever spent on a High School sporting event. Last years tourney was epic. Great games every year, great atmosphere and even though my tea, didn't make it this year it would be hard for me to stay away. I will even be at the girls tourney starting tomorrow.

Did you mean to say 3 minutes left to play in third quarter? I thought Holmes had a 15-point lead entering the 4th quarter.

Holmes had a huge down night at Highlands with Chames real sick that whole week. They play 10 games 9 wouldn't be close.

Q was right. The game was not decided until midway of the 4th quarter.

I just started reading the thread, so I don't know if this has been brought up, but what's up with all three Catholic schools having to play on Ash Wednesday? I guess I won't be the only one at the arena with ashes on my forehead.
