NKY Bandit had it right that this is an important year for SK's program, with Powell and some talent on the line they have the start of a good offense that can take pressure off the new QB and allow him to grow into the position.

SK has a nice, solid foundation to continue building upon. Maintaining recent success into 2014 with a third starting QB in the 'new' era should be enough to quiet the doubters outside of Independence.

I heard SK has 112 kids on next years roster not counting the incoming freshman.

I heard that also. It's going to be another great football season!

Finally telling the truth....great for you is 3rd round loss...great for the Birds 7 straight state titles!.....Just playing.....should be another solid season for the pioneers.

If SK had just 10 posters as enthusiastic as Ukfan this thread would be on page 9

This is why his posting in HHS threads always makes for the 10+ pagers, he is like one of us now, he has sipped the Blue Koolaid

Lesson 1- never taunt FTH with poor grammar. It makes them feel even more superior than usual.

3 months into 2014 campaign and by far the favorite for BGP "Post of the Year", LOL

I heard SK has 112 kids on next years roster not counting the incoming freshman.

Wow! That is a huge roster. With that many kids, hopefully the coaches can develop these boys into State Champions. Could this be the year for the Pioneers?

Again, anyone have their schedule for next year?
