Did he include all the games? Note where it say's a minimum of games played and in this week stats sheet, I believe it is 20 games! Does he have 20 stats games posted?

Yes it had more than minimum number or games.

I just think it's amazing that Johnson averaged that many boards/game. Outstanding.

Well, don't break your arm patting your own back. Let's all have a love fest giving you some credit, AGAIN. One last time, I'm sure your school is thankful to have you. I'm sure if there was money in some athletic budgets, there would be some tagged for someone to do stats. But not every school has a volunteer or the money to pay someone to do it. So, please get off of your soapbox and give it a rest. No one is shirking reporting stats for some competitive advantage. Please.

Hey you asked the question and I answered it for you, if you don't like my answer, then don't ask a loaded question!

You know as well as I do, that those teams that aren't posting their stats are indeed keeping stats! If they don't have the money and I highly doubt it, most likely do have the volunteers willing to do it but the coach refuses to post them, as they are afraid that someone might get a leg up on them.

BTW name me a top twenty five team that doesn't do stats at their games?

Locally I know NCC and Holmes, have stats and I know they could get someone to post them!

To me at least the most impressive stats is from Wayne County in attempting 714 FT and making 540.

I don't think TOG was patting his back at all. He was explaining the ways that appreciation has been shown to him, and that he appreciates the appreciation.

Its great that teams report their stats.

But if its not required by the KHSAA to do so, then its no big deal if schools don't.

Geez dude. What an awful response. You set him up so you can bash him?

Make more FTs than your opponent attempts then you will win a lot of games.

Oh, give me a break. I knew I'd draw some of the regional love, but here's the deal. This isn't the first and I'm sure it won't be the last shot at other schools who don't post stats. His reasons are that they are lazy and/or don't want them easily available for potential opponents. That's not always the case. My school for instance is small and doesn't have an opportunity. Our coach has to do it all and has to try to stat it from film, which he has to beg a parent to do for him. Not every school has the manpower to pull it off. It's just not as simple as the old one makes it sound. It's a tired response.

So you admit you set him up? Further, shame on the parents that don't step up. There are at least 5 parents at most games. Step up! Even further, if you want Jimmy to get recognition, don't complain when his scores, average, etc, don't show up. TOG is lamenting that kids are not getting recognition. Is this a bad thing? I don't think so.

I am with you,,,,Some of the stats could also have some home cookin flavored in,,,Example,,player listed at 6 ft 8 in. is actually 6 ft 5 in. ,, why do they do this?

It is indeed tiresome that a great many coaches purposely don't post their stats FOR JUST THAT REASON. They don't want anyone else to know who their best & worst shooters are, who their best rebounders are, etc.

And yes, of course there could be home cooking in the numbers, but considering how few of our state's teams are posting stats I'd say that's not all that likely.

Geez, from the list of teams that HAVE NOT provided stats, there is a who's who of some of the biggest high schools in the state - and they can't come up with someone to keep their numbers? You know that isn't true. Schools that large have a huge number of students & supporters any number of whom should be willing (or want) to help.

^ In general, the heights that are posted make me chuckle.

The "heights" that are posted make you chuckle. ???
