If I were the Official statistician you can bet your "donkey" every stat would be on the KHSAA website. NewCath has someone doing them (he as been doing them for over 30 years), however I do not know why they are not being posted to the KHSAA website.

And just to remind you Lawnboy said YNot's post was lame because he didn't like YNot's excuse for why his school doesn't post stats and Lawnboy's favorite school doesn't even post stats. Lawnboy then tells YNot to get off his butt and go to every game and post his school's stats. I said to Lawnboy why doesn't he do that for NCC? Posting stats on BGP ain't crap. Put them on KHSAA Lawnboy just like he told YNot to do.

YNot can go to the coach of the school he is referring to, and take this duty over so the coach doesn't have to.

Colton Elkins from Boyle Co would probably lead the state in blocks if the KHSAA kept track of it . Has to average around 4 blocks a game and has several games with over 6 blocks. One of the best shot blockers I've seen in a long time.

The thread was started with the intent of taking shots at other schools, while patting themselves on the back. There are posters on this website that volunteer for their local school and put in more hours than those throwing stones.

I'm sure there would be several other schools listed had they reported. One example would be Cooper would be be ranked 2nd defensively as they are only giving up 49pts/game. Congrats to all the other reporting NKY schools being ranked high.

Third. I just saw Brossart stats are posted again like they have been most of the year. They yield just 45.24 PPG.

I'm not sure how long a basketball game takes to enter thru KHSAA but I enter baseball game stats for Holy Cross and each game takes me maybe 10 minutes to complete. Once you get the hang of it maybe not even that long.

As baseball nut said about 10/15 minutes. Sometimes it takes a bit longer, only because the site sometimes is slow.

The putting in the stats is not hard but what is hard is getting them done.

I would think most school could find someone who is willing to do this for their team, if the coaches (or someone else involved) could provide a stat report for the game. As has been mentioned, I expect most schools are keeping track of these stats, they just need to get them into the system.
