KY Thorobred Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 The Indians survive in Mt. Sterling. This game was tied at 49 with a little over a minute to go. The Indians improve to 25-2. The Thorobreds fall to 12-16.
Rez Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 It was not a pretty shooting night in Mt Sterling. Montgomery: 33% Fg 22% 3pt 14-27 ft (they were 0-7 at the half and 2-11 after 3) Harrison 35% fg 35% 3pt Not sure about ft, but not great. Harrison Co only had 4 players score. D Pullium 14 Thompson 14 Jenkins 12 Z Pullium 9 Montgomery was led by Cisero with 18. Jones rolled his ankle and the first quarter. He tried to come back in the second half, but only played a minute or two.
Randy Parker Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Wow! Nice showing by the Breds, but good work by MoCo to come away with the W.
All In Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Wow! Nice showing by the Breds, but good work by MoCo to come away with the W. The Breds are good, trust me. Probably will be the 10th region favorite next year
Randy Parker Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 The Breds are good, trust me. Probably will be the 10th region favorite next year They're really good, but they have to be more consistent. And they'll definitely be in the mix next year.
All In Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 They're really good, but they have to be more consistent. And they'll definitely be in the mix next year. They should be the leader of that mix
babyjack1 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 I was very impressed by the Breds. Didn't they play Holmes to 5 the other night?
Rez Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 The Breds are good, trust me. Probably will be the 10th region favorite next year I think Jenkins will be one of the top players in the region for the next two years. The other top teams in the region all definitely lose more than Harrison Co.
gold sunrise Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 I think Jenkins will be one of the top players in the region for the next two years. The other top teams in the region all definitely lose more than Harrison Co. I really like the Jenkins kid too. The post season is going to be very interesting. I have already predicted a couple of upsets......:sssh:

Protect Your Dream Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 With a few more tweaks and some toughness, HCHS could be representing the 10th at Rupp! Go Breds!
mcpapa Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Talk about a deceiving record at 12-16. Harrison County can play with ANYONE in the 10th.
jahearme Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Three keys to this one being close: 1. Montgomery Co's poor FT shooting 2. Darius Jones not playing very much at all. 3. Harrison continues to struggle in the 4th quarter.
theoldveteran Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 I have not seen many pretty shooting nights in Montgomery's gym, especially from the visiting team. Of all the games I have seen here the visiting team struggles. IMO not a good shooting gym and rims often seem tight. The Barn was much better for shooting.
Plato Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Will Jones be ok for district tourney games this week?
