[video=youtube_share;kOqnP-fb-0M] After watching Bailey’s first no-hitter, I came across the 6/16/78 video of Tom Seaver’s no-no against the Cardinals. Two things I noticed right off and had forgotten. Most batters did not wear batting gloves and when a pitcher delivered a ball in the dirt, it was actually tossed back to the pitcher. In fact, Morgan asked the home plate ump to check a ball delivered in the dirt and the ump tossed it back into play. Ahh, great memories. Thanks Loogy.
