Signs you probably made the right decision leaving a woman like that: she does stuff like this.

Yeah...and cheating on her and lying to her is the right way to handle it. You men have no idea how the things you do drive women to desperate behavior.

Didn't read the article and know that's what happened. Cheating is definitely not the way to go about it.

And the guy that is her ex may very well be a dirtbag. But, having your ex's name tattoed on your arm, with the general term for a female dog after the ex's name also tattoed there...sorry those are not the actions of a lady.

And there are plenty of guys out there that aren't gentlemen either, so yes it goes both ways.

Lady or not. She is stupid. In my definition of a lady, she isn't one.

What are the attributes of a "lady"? How can you tell from looking at a woman whether she's a "lady" or not a "lady"?

Gotta tell you that at first take anyone who would have "Chopper's B***H" tattooed on her arm is likely not very ladylike.

That said, anyone who would date someone who willingly refers to herself as "Chopper's B***H" is just as likely no gentleman.

Good thing she didn't get a nipple ring for him.

But, what ARE the actions of a "lady"? Do "ladies" NEVER make stupid decisions? Do they NEVER say things that are offensive? Do they dress a certain way? Do they wear their hair a certain way? Exactly what IS a "lady"?

Being a woman, I can tell you with certainty it is a subjective term. Emily Post defined a "lady" in one of her columns. The attributes included simplicity, sincerity and serenity. She mentions a couple other things, but all, she says, come down to their presence in a woman by way of kindness. There is no way any of those attributes could be ascertained about someone by just seeing a picture of the woman in the article above, nor by reading the article. We know nothing about this woman except what is written in the article.

The most soft-spoken, well-dressed woman who meets all the "right" societal standards of appearance and action may APPEAR to be a "lady". But in fact, may be unkind, unsympathetic and two-faced to the max. It's disheartening that even as far as we've come historically, women are still harshly and superficially judged by their appearance, and that extends into the judgement of their character.

I don't know if the girl in the article is or is not a "lady". My objection is to the quick and superficial proclomation that she isn't because she doesn't meet certain superficial standards imposed by men.

As I've always said, you can't put frosting on a turd and call it a chocolate cake. The nastiest, meanest horrible human beings on earth can dress nice, look good and have a pleasant smile. I'm not debating that at all and whole heartedly agree.

However, what this young woman in the article has done is FAR from lady like...I mean wouldn't you agree? I don't think, if they had a daughter that came home with a "prison" looking tattoo that read "Choppers B***h" along with all the other stuff she has done, anyone on this board would be making comparisons of a young Audrey Hepburn.

As I was reading that all I kept thinking was Hillary Clinton, except for the look good part.

While I get what your saying, she carved a chunk out of her arm and mailed it to him. She's got some screws loose.

A lady, can't define it, but I know it when I see it.
