February 6, 201412 yr Do I believe there is a creature know as "Bigfoot" roaming the woods? yes I do, and I consider myself somewhat of an interested Bigfoot follower...I watch all the shows, look at the news articles and review websites on the subject from time to time. Do I think this guy has one? No I do not. If this guy ACTUALLY had one, as soon as he shot if he would have contacted to first news agency he could find, and then every network he could get a hold of to do a show on it, and would have much money in his pocket right now displaying the thing. Another hoax. You had a tarheel avatar, I wouldn't expect anything less.

February 6, 201412 yr I know some otherwise sane people that will argue til they are blue in the face that Bigfoot exist... One went so far as to tell me what sounds and food could be used to draw a Bigfoot in to photo range, I asked "You know this how?"

There's just too much that has gone on over the years and people have seen too many things for me to not think something's out there.Just proves the world is full of idiots, not that bigfoot exists. ZERO chance, i will repeat, ZERO chance bigfoot exists and no one has a video or pic of one or found one dead yet. A cop can't raise his voice to someone without 14 videos of it showing up on the internet yet we're supposed to believe there are 8 foot apes running around North American and there's no proof. There are only about 800 total gorillas left in the world and you can probably find a pic of just about every one. Yet we can't have so much as 1 picture of a squatch.
February 6, 201412 yr Bigfoot doesn't exist. Just like the Loch Ness creature didn't exist and was actually finally proven to be a hoax after years of debate. Satellite images from orbits high above the earth can pinpoint animals much smaller than the size that Bigfoot is suppose to be. I'm sure by now that if one of these creatures existed that one of these satellites would have spotted it by now. Of course, the government may be concealing the information like they have done with all those space aliens that landed in Roswell, lol. I blame some of this misinformation on the History Channel with their "anything to make a buck" philosophy on programming. They need to change their name to The Occasional History Channel.
February 6, 201412 yr I would tell everybody as well there are ferocious Bigfoots all over my hunting grounds to prevent trespassing. One bigfoot is mine, up your hind end if you do trespass and ruin the hard work and time many invest into a successful deer season. I'm not shutting the door on this phenomenon. I take an open mind approach to just about anything in life. However, if true, and this guy shot and killed a ________. Pandoras box has been opened up and every Tom, Dick, and Harry who sees dollar signs will invade peaceful country everywhere imposing their will. Go to youtube and search bigfoot and seek out the top 10 videos. Makes you wonder if its Uncle Fester on a bender in an a gorilla suit. One thing that makes me think give the concept some some credibility is. Why would a bunch of folks gather in a valley to knock on trees in a remote rocky mountain or cascade range location in ____________. Do so to make $$$$$. Cue broke back mountain jokes! Might be something to the whole Native American Indian lore of Giant Hairy Men…..BOOOOOOOOOOO! Happy Bigfootaween!

The silverback gorilla was only discovered in the 20th century, until then their species was unknown. You cannot say they don't exist beyond a shadow of a doubt just like I cannot say they do exist beyond a shadow of a doubt. Truth of the matter is we don't know for sure. To say there is "zero" evidence though is bogus. Prints and castings are aplenty and people have recorded pictures or video however like I said in an earlier post even a real picture or video cannot be authenticated so there will always be doubters. With that said I find it interesting and compelling that native peoples have talked about these types of creatures for hundreds or thousands of years. These are the peoples who have had to coexist and share land with these creatures, their accounts have been passed down through centuries. Some native cultures hold the sasquatch to the highest regard and an integral part of their culture and heritage.

February 7, 201412 yr Author People have a notion that if you can't prove it to me then it cannot exist. IMO that's the wrong attitude to have especially when hundreds of thousands of "impossible" things have been proven to be "possible" overtime. Some of this stuff is no different, no matter how outlandish it sounds. Anything is possible. I have a hard time believing that hundreds of thousands of witness reports are just fabricated and a joint hoax venture rather than something that has some actual substance. Many educated outdoorsman have had experiences they cannot explain, Les Stroud (Survivorman) included, he had his own Sasquatch encounter. I tend to think something must be up, even if it is just an unknown/undocumented primate species, like I said until recently the silverback was also an unknown primate. Furthermore argue about not finding the remains of these creatures, however you will not find the remains of chimps or other primates either so I can't roll with that argument.
