Not one caught on a game camera.

 

There's plenty of game camera footage out there, I've actually saw one from my area I will try to find it. Plenty of pictures out there if you look, but again most people will dismiss pictures and video even if its the real thing.

I have hunted in Texas 5 times, and in three locations, all surrounded by ranches of square mileage, and all were leased and managed for deer hunting and were polluted with game cameras. Big biz out there. Not one Yeti, nary a sasquatch, zero bigus-footus.

 

Not surprised they wouldn't be in a "hunting area".

Still though does that mean that there is absolutely zero chance they exist? The analogy I like to use is with deer, you are not guaranteed to see a deer if you go in the woods but yet they have a very high population and populations confined close to human populations. So if you have a creature that is far less populated in far more remote areas it will be tough to see one. You could also add that the creature could be fairly intelligent and with the help of strong senses (like most animals) could avoid humans.

 

The natives claim they live in harmony with nature and we are not supposed to have contact with them.

But if you believe even a small portion of the so-called reported Squatch sightings by people all over the country, then they are certainly not avoiding humans. Yet, despite all that interraction with us, still there is no convincing evidence of their mere existence. Nobody has taken a picture, no redneck has pumped one full of lead, nobody has plowed one with their car, nothing.

 

I'm comfortable with the zero probability theory.

Most of the reports or credible reports come from extremely isolated areas. Also using a mathematical equation I have saw that even with dismissing a large percentage of witness reports that a percentage exists of reports that are likely credible. It is almost a mathematical certaintly that at least some of the reports are credible and not just hoax or made up.

My best friends grandmother also told a story of a "hairy man" following her and her siblings on the way to school when thy were growing up. They lived in a secluded area and had to walk through the woods to get to school, they said they saw it so much they got used to it. They alwys called it that giant hairy man.

I'm sorry, dolamite, but I don't understand how you come to that conclusion. Are you saying that the more reported sightings you have, the probability scale moves closer and closer to certainty? I'm not buying it.

 

I may even argue the opposite. If the reported sightings increase exponentially, and the hard evidence remains at zero, then the probability that the reports have merit decreases in my mind.

 

Now, throw in just one real carcass, and the scales will start to tip.

Most people feel this way but why? You can't see or smell oxygen but do you think it exists? You cannot see radio or infrared waves but do they exist?

 

There's a lot of stuff out there we cant see or didnt know existed only to find out later it history it does. In my opinion we will perhaps be saying that about the sasquatch one day. Think of all the new species discovered almost weekly, like the rainbow colored snakes now in Cali. If somebody asked you to believe in a tie die snake you think you would? Well its recently discovered, what about the fly with ant pictures evolved on it's wings? Who would have ever thought that. What may look or seem impossible may not be as impossible as you think. Just because you don't believe doesn't make it impossible.

Basically that there are so many reported cases (some from police officers, game wardens, forest service, etc.) that some of them have to have substance. Even if you throw out 95% as hoax it still doesn't answer the other 5%.

 

Also like I said there is evidence out there but to skeptics no evidence will ever be good enough unless they see one for themselves.

 

Dr. Jeff Meldrum has thousands of plaster cast, he has dismissed some as fakes. However, he has distinguished the fakes from possible real prints due to the foot structure. Some of these casts have prints, like our fingerprints. Impossible to hoax that in a puddle of mud or a dirt path.

It is so obvious to me that BigFoot is simply a creation of the Illuminati. How do you all not see that!! :sssh:

I think Bigfoot day should be a national holiday. Exchange cards, gifts, have family get-togethers. Money to be made, people will start believing.
