Tomorrow, they play Conner.

How sure are you about that? I just talked to someone that said three QBs were getting meaningful time. And can the final decision be made before 7 on 7 competition?

 

From what I was told all three are in different classes. Engler develops one Qb in each class. They all will get a lot of snaps but Rytlewski is getting most of the work with the one's and is going to be the starter as long as he can perform. At least that's what I was told.

Guru, 7 on 7 can surely change things. Live fire and practice reps are totally different. But as a new coach I think the senior gets the benefit of doubt. An underclassman has to really stand out. Engler has eluded that he is not afraid to start a junior or even a sophomore though. We'll see tomorrow how it goes. Updates to follow.

From what I can see and hear Engler is making moves to two platoon as much as possible. Might be one or two who go both ways but they won't start at both.

Isn't this the year Ryle is supposed to have some sort of "super class" as seniors? I remember when my Cards wanted to re-up with Ryle a few years ago, they didn't want to do it until this year.

Juniors, I am almost positive.

I thought the kid I saw run with the first group today against Conner was solid. He can have success in this new offensive system.

The class we were waiting on was the juniors, and the Qb from this morning is a senior Ryan Rytlewski.

I didn't mention him because I though since last year was hist first year playing Qb he might need one more before varsity. He is an athlete, you make a convincing point.

 

I believe the O'Hara kid has been playing QB since 1st grade....saw him playing that all 8 yrs in BCPWL...
