February 2, 201412 yr Author As I was expecting the storm is widening and strengthening some. The heavy snow band now includes all of WKY cutting a wide path through the entire state. I'm upping my snowfall amounts. NKY 1-3 with some maybe seeing 4 inches. WKY 2-4 inches. The heavy snow band seems to be shifting a little northward. As of now it seems to be from around Lexington and follows I-64. The area goes as far north as Williamstown and as far south as Richmond. In a northeasterly directon. Parts of this area in EKY may see upwards to 6+ inches. This includes Maysville down to just north of I-64. Parts of SEKY will be looking at 1-3 with the possibility of significant ice accumulations. My main area of concern is southern and southeastern parts of the state. They are looking at significant ice accumulations of .25+ inches. The area from about Franklin through Glasgow just south of Berea and Louisa. The southern edge goes just south of Williamsburg to Pineville and Harlan. This does include Manchester, Hazard and Pikeville. Let me add other parts of the state may see some icing befoe it turns to all snow.

I did really enjoy the 50 + degree weather yesterday. I saw my lawn for the first time in weeks this morning. Everyone be safe tonight and tomorrow morning!
February 2, 201412 yr It's going to be a tough go for our Super Bowl gathering at our golf course clubhouse. The hill coming into the course is very steep, so there could be a few no-shows.
