Slusher will also be D1 before it is all said and done.

Congrats to all the boys who committed. Itll be interesting to see the rivalry with stringer whos going to louisville and combs going to uk. Like people say," nothin like a friendly rivalry to stir things up." Yet again congrats to combs, stringer, suchanek, and more tba!

Yep. Good for him, prioritized his activities, gave up hoops and worked on his game. Will get all the exposure he wants this summer. How about that Tomahawk team. 2 UK, 1 each to Vandy, Oregon, and UofL. Several more yet to commit, including the crown jewel in big lefty Bennett. Off topic I know, but thats pretty cool, and Slusher is on that team now.

If I was a betting man I say he goes to UK...

With all of these commits, will the other Tomahawk players get looks this summer? Is a college coach or scout going to drive to watch one or two players, or will they go to a game with five or ten unsigned prospects? I would drive to watch Bennett and Slusher, just asking the question.

These kids are Juniors to be so they haven't signed anything and can change their mind if they want too. The tournaments that the Tomahawks play in will be crawling with scouts..

Congrats to all the Beechwood signees and committed players. They have raised the bar and set a high standard.

Has any 9th region team had 3, let alone 4 D1 players on their roster? Sounds like there may be quite a bit of pressure to win big. Not that it matters but how many of Beechwood's big guns live within the confines of the district?

The only one paying tuition is Stringer.

Also, out of the D1 guys, Suchanek is the only senior. Combs, Stringer and Slusher are sophomores. Fieger is a sophomore also.

CCH had 3 on the 2001 state champ team. Grogan went to WKU. Sean Ryan played at EKU. Rob Harmon played at Ohio U. They had Stephen Muck on the JV team who also went on to play at WKU.

Yep. Tigers, say hello to the bullseye. They saw a lot of bottom of the rotation guys last year. The big 3, no big deal, when you wear a Flames or Midland jersey that's an every day thing. How will the rest of the team perform seeing top flight pitchers everyday?

Solid. If these commitments stick, I would say advantage Tigers with X, UK, and UofL. Is that enough to match the ring the Colonels brought home? All up to supporting cast.

That was the 2002 team. Along with those 3 mentioned , the 2001 team also had Durr who played at WKU and Kunkel who walked on and made UK.

Thanks. Should have known that. So with Durr the 2001 team had 4 D1 players plus a walk-on.
