I agree, but the coaches have to keep the kids motivated during the game. When a kid takes a play off, that is when the injury occurs. The Beechwood coaches do a great job at getting the starters off the field early in games like these. I was not very impressed with Cov Cath and Dixie, kept starters on the field too long.

That is why I love NKY, we may battle on the field, but we do it with honor and class.

My son plays for BW and I completely agree with you. Rash and his coaches are great people and great football minds, but they are not game coaches.

Thank you Voice, just found the video and thought it would be fun to watch. This was probably one of the best Junior division teams in the history of NKY football. The bad thing for Beechwood is most of these kids go to Cov Cath.

I think the closer for BW could be a combination of Slusher, Bankemper and Nussbaum. With 3 hard throwers starting, the off speed of Nuss and Slush could confuse some hitters.

SK is the runner up and Bwood has another State Championship, deal with it. Sk is 3 times bigger than Bwood, but SK struggles against them in almost every sport. Bwood should never be mentioned as a top team in any sport, but every year I see them on the list. A single "A" school in NKY should do what Bellevue does every year, win a few games, scare a few big schools and then finish below .500. Bwood has State titles, they beat bigger schools all the time and they have a runner up in the "official" State baseball championship, just like SK.

Chief, Bwood beat Hazard 11-1, against their best pitcher. SK beat Hazard 1-0, against their second best pitcher. The All "A" is nothing?

Not sure why Mullins pulled Fieger in the 6th, kid had curve working, CCH was off balance.

Fieger did pitch, but nobody is mentioning the 6 or 7 errors that BW had. Only 3 official errors in the book, but a horrible defensive game by BW.

Around 270 rushing attempts for 1520 yards, with 262 passing attempts for 2285. These rushing attempts do not include Fieger's carries or yards. 5.63 yards per carry and 8.72 yards per passing attempt, with 21 rushing TD's and 28 passing TD's.

Fieger pitched 4 innings, gave up 3 hits and had 4 or 5 K's.

With all of these commits, will the other Tomahawk players get looks this summer? Is a college coach or scout going to drive to watch one or two players, or will they go to a game with five or ten unsigned prospects? I would drive to watch Bennett and Slusher, just asking the question.

Also, I was told by a Bwood parent that they did not press for one second in any of these games. Yes CCH has the superior team, even I got playing time against Bwood, but class is class and sadly it has been lost. ALL HAIL RUTHSATZ!!!!!!

The day Ruthsatz was hired. If Tieman or Listerman were coaching and a player made gestures to the fans, he would have been at least suspended, if not kicked off the team. You don't have to worry much longer, because I would be very surprised if Ruthsatz is around next season.
