You are implying that one or both of them are equally accomplished coaches and they are NOT. Brandon Smith can be himself more at South Warren than he could at Boyle and if you don't understand or can't acknowledge that then we can't have an intelligent conversation at all.

I said it because that is the answer to your question. You implied that because Brandon had better results that he is the better coach and more deserving. I brought up that point because you have to look at what coaches have around them to work with instead of basing their worthiness on results(see Josh Jaggers). Aren't there some football players that will be playing D-1 football that were on that South Warren team? How many players from South Warren will be playing football at the next level? How many will Lincoln have? How long has Lincoln been a hotbed of football talent? How long has BG been a hotbed of football talent? How do you know the Leffews aren't just as good as a coach than Brandon? What is there to prove that? And if you can't understand that Brandon could be himself at Boyle County then you are right, we can't have an intelligent conversation. Brandon Smith will forever be loved by the people of Boyle County. Just as the Leffews will. If there is anything that Coach Pardue taught us it is that we need to be more patient sometimes and we need to do a better job of taking care of our own. That is something WE do at Boyle County and something I believe that we can continue to do at Boyle County. You don't need to get your panties in a wad becuase I suggested that the Leffews may be just as good of a coach than Brandon. They might be. They all learned it from the same person, smart guy. :no:

I'm not urban. I've seen it both ways.

Assistant coached a team in a bigger class with less resources and talent than Brandon Smith did. None of them have been head coaches at the high school level ever so I'd argue their experience is fairly equal. If we're going to just limit this to coaches who have seen success then give the job to Bill Letton and call it a day.

Things like talent, support, feeder system, boosters, school district lines...things of that nature. IMO South Warren is better equipped to sustain success on the football field than Lincoln County. To go from a brand new school whose first year of football was strictly a JV schedule to arguably the #3 program in Warren County in less than a decade is a noteworthy accomplishment.

 

And they are likely only going to get better.

Swear to God that's how I always interpreted it. To me that is the only way it makes sense. Whatever though....I still think whoever invented the term 'slow your roll' didn't listen in english class. Those are two verbs.

I didn't catch the name but I heard the guy say he would bring a division I level of wide receiver with him. I've seen the guy who said that at every Boyle County sporting event I've ever been to but I don't know him well enough to know if he actually knows or not.
