I don't think Brandon has enough experience either, but if I were going to take a chance on a coach that young it would be Brandon simply because he is Chuck Smiths son, and I would think Chuck has taught him well and we all know that Chuck knows football.

Does the job have to be listed and open for a certain period of time before Boyle can name a coached?

Did one of them coordinate something? Have they been there and developed any talent? How long have they been there and what improvement has been made in that time? You actually want me to believe that Lincoln county having a few more students than South Warren makes that experience more valuable? (that thought process is garbage and perked up my ears that the rest of the argument might be false) I've got a lot of contacts in coaching circles. Brandon Smith is one of the best in the state right now. No one had ever even mentioned to me that a Leffew was even coaching anywhere let alone on the same level as Smith.

If its an inside the system hire no.

 

If there is NOT a teaching job tagged to the Head Football Coach Job, then no.

 

If the plan/are filling a teaching slot with the Head Football Coach, yes.

Good question I work for the Boyle county school system, and I'm not positive but I believe it does have to be posted for x number of days.

Brandon coordinates the defense, coaches the QBs, and runs the weightroom/off season program at SW. Last but not least I have seen South Warren play and I have seen Lincoln play. One team is more disciplined and fundamentally sound than the other, I'll let you guess which one that is.

Slow your role. Where did anybody say that? My words were that they are just as experienced as Brandon when it comes to being a HEAD COACH in high school.

This is the first time iv'e ever disagreed with you on anything so slow your ROLL. You brought up the sentence "Assistant coached a team in a bigger class with less resources and talent than Brandon Smith did". If it wasn't a point to make why did you say it? You are implying that one or both of them are equally accomplished coaches and they are NOT. Brandon Smith can be himself more at South Warren than he could at Boyle and if you don't understand or can't acknowledge that then we can't have an intelligent conversation at all.
