Where do his kids coach at?

One is in college, played for him at Murray & I thought was playing at Murray State, but maybe he was helping his dad this year, too. His other son, who most know is Zip Duncan (UK Football ALL SEC OL back with Woodson, Tamme, etc) was a G.A at Western this past year.

I do know that this year was his 27th year teaching in KY (his other 6-7 years were as an assistant at Fort Knox back in the 80's and early 90's).

Maybe somewhere in TN (Double Dip)? Maybe somewhere in the BG area? Maybe him getting one of those jobs? Maybe his son is in the mix? Who knows. Maybe nothing at all.

Steve could just be hanging it up altogether, although I doubt that. He's had a great career, though. He was part of 2 or 3 of Fort Knox State Championship teams back in the day, was an assistant at Larue County and E-town before taking the DC job at Lone Oak when Haskins took over, making it to the 07 finals then he's had some pretty dang good years at Murray, just coming up short this year.

Yeah, I'm intrigued that he resigns because he wants to coach with his kids. I guess he didn't say where he wanted to coach with them at.

Wonder if he could wind up at Central Hardin?

I'm thinking no but I've been wrong before.

Outstanding coach....even better person. Man of God who always put his young men before he and his family. They don't make them like Steve anymore...he will do well in whatever he does, always has!

Old news as he is ruumored to be heading down the road about 15 miles to Tennessee to make some big money.

He was quietly having to contend with some restless natives that wanted more and didn't like the offense he ran. I am afraid Murray may find out that the grass is not always greener on the other side. As Dark Horse said, he is a man of God, great coach and person. I wish him the best

He will be missed here in our district. Good coach and a great man.

I'd say Owensboro Catholic and Caldwell Co. are glad to hear Coach Duncan is leaving Murray.

Maybe heading to Henry Co Tn. Great 5a program in Tn that just won state the last 2 years.

Geez. I don't doubt it one bit, and those people just make me sick. To their defense, had Murray just been able to throw it a little bit better (I think they threw for less than 200 yards on the year), and you can out of that system---as a matter of fact, it's a thing of beauty; they would have gotten over the "hump" (and, I hate using that word for them).

But, what ticks me off, and you know as well as I know----had Murray been 4 and 5 wide, those 5 Region Finals appearances (winning two of them) would have been just fine and dandy. No complaints. None. Zero. Zilch.

Possibly, but I don't see it.

Come to find out, he only has 23 years in w/ KTRS (translation for those who don't understand: He cant retire w/ full benefits).
