He's gotten a few bashes on his Twitter Account this morning from upset UM fans...sad when that happens to kids and embarrassing when fans of your favorite school do it (ie...Wiggins)

Wow.

Justme2012 was definitely onto something.

Will be interesting to see who gets involved. I think Harris to UK could be a good thing for him. He'll be close to home where he'll have his support system in place and his family will be able to come watch him play.

I've always got the impression that Harris wasn't a guy who cared about being at a huge, big time program. If so, I'm guessing he would have bolted Madison Southern for a program like Trinity, St. Xavier, one of the bigger Lexington schools, or at least Madison Central. That's why the Michigan commit was always sort of confusing to me. When I'd asked about it, no one knew about any relations he had to the area (i.e., extended family there, etc.) and said he'd just grown up a Michigan fan.

Does anyone know if the recommitment was related to anything? Maybe a position coach or someone who recruited him moving on, etc.?

I think he was or had become close to a coach that was recently fired at UM

Makes sense.

UK with a great shot at this kid.

HowardWKYT: @KySportsRadio spoke to Damien Harris in person last night and he said he's never been interested in UK

Sure about that???

Guess we'll let it play out GT. Nothing is certain in recruiting these kids, especially in football. I have reason to believe that they have a legit shot.

Would love to see him at UK, but I don't know how likely that might be.

Jojo Kemp..

Ryan Timmons..

Boom Johnson..

Mikel Horton..

It's wild open at this point, I concur that UM is still #1. Although I'm pretty certain 5 schools will get an official visit, and go from there.

Would have to think Kentucky will hit Harris a little harder now than perhaps they had been before. Still think it would be an absolute long shot to see him in Lexington.

They never stopped quite honestly. Coach Scott has been on him ever since they took over at UK.
