Featured Replies

His offseason is going to be interrupted here soon for a while. He will find out more today. He was very excited about the recent offers.

I say Damien has offers from just about everybody when it's all said and done, but none of those schools will have the advantage UK has and that is staying home to represent your home state. Lot of pride in that fact. Why not?

Because some schools offer a tradition of winning as opposed to a tradition of representing your home state. I'm glad kids choose to represent their home state but I would never blame a kid or be mad at a kid for choosing a program with a winning tradition as opposed to UK or UL if he has those options.

Don't toy with me, Damien.

Will take several visits. I wouldn't expect a decision anytime soon.

I don't get it. What does that tweet mean?

Why not UK? New motto. He said that commercial they did got him "hype." Now on NSD he tweets the UK motto. There's legit interest.

This is where things get hairy for me though. And let me qualify this by saying I know and understand completely that he is a kid but there will be some UK fans that are pissed off at him if he doesn't choose UK. I can't say I'd be mad at them if he is going to tweet out the new UK football motto but then choose somewhere else to go. It's kind of like the kids who are at their announcements and they act like they are putting on a certain hat and then set it down and pick up another. Why play with people's emotions and minds like that?

I don't think he's "playing with their emotions." I'm feel he has legit interest, and if he does there is no reason why he shouldn't tweet about UK or any other school. He doesn't have a list of schools so it's crazy to suggest that he shouldn't tweet about any schools. If he was still committed to Michigan and tweeted that, then we could have a discussion.

All I am saying is that tweeting stuff like that out and then choosing somewhere else to go will bring out the rowdy fans that make a whole fanbase look bad. It's one thing to tweet..."I had a great visit to UK. Great staff, cool players...blah blah blah." IMO, it's a whole other ballgame when you tweet the football program's new logo fresh from their Super Bowl commercial...#WhyNot. To me that shows more than a legit interest. And again, I know he's a kid and all. Just be careful is all I am saying. I guarantee there are some 18%ers who saw that and are swearing on their children that he is a Wildcat. Those will be the ones tweeting stupity at him if he chooses Oklahoma.

I don't know, I don't see it any different than Elam tweeting out #BBN and #RTR in the same tweets...

I get what you're saying, but I think a lot of these kids are just enjoying the process and being in the spotlight. Can't say I blame them.

Always gotta keep the doors open in recruiting. Not saying he's legit interested, not saying he isn't. I'll stick with UK is low on the list at this point. Never say never thou. Stoops and company will not give up on anyone, especially him.

True and true.

Oklahoma and USC offered today.

Yes, the Trojans have offered.
