UK has also announce that former signee DL Alvonte Bell has resigned to UK You are correct, my bad. I saw a "hypothetical" ranking that included Shaq Wiggins, Jaquay Williams and Devonte Fields and did not realize it. Strength of Cards wasn't my point. Issue is how does UK get better? Simply not good enough. Missouri is doing it. Top 40 is ok in most conferences, but in the SEC you stay home for the holidays. Add Jimmy Hairball to the Ohio recruiting mix and it only shrinks the talent pool.
February 4, 201511 yr They still have to play the games. lol. It's how they play and are developed that counts. Heard Stoops say that 33 per cent of NFL players went undrafted. I would have never guessed it to be that high. That's correct, but ask him of the recruiting makeups of the teams that played in F4. Or the New Years 6 bowl games. I know, Boise State. Last I looked they don't play in SEC.
February 4, 201511 yr I believe it. I thought I heard them say on the radio today that not a single player on either the Seahawks or the Patriots this year were 4 or 5 star recruits. If accurate, that's pretty remarkable. My understanding is that no super bowl starters were 5 star recruits.

Once upon a time our classes were mostly 2* with a few 3* seldom did we get any 4*. We still managed to be competitive when we had a good coach. Now we are mostly 3* and while not tons of 4*, they are not rare anymore. Now we need depth and it's time to find out if these guys can coach. When we're fielding a team with 5th year seniors, seniors, and juniors instead of sophomores, red shirt freshmen, and freshmen, and can actually rotate some guys in and out. Then I'll make my decision.

July 4, 201511 yr Author People always say you have to get the legit recruits from your home state. KY has 3 Army All-Americans in this class and UK got all 3.
