Cannot compete in the SEC with these types of classes. I get it, maybe a bit better, but when the rest of the conference is in the Top 30 it's time to look in the mirror. Hell, Louisville is mopping up in the south, they are currently 24th on 247 and appear to be taking the Alabama kids that Auburn and the Tide cannot. Future looks no better than the present.

First of all, Louisville is 31st on 247..... Kentucky will end up in 30-35 range. UK has also announce that former signee DL Alvonte Bell has resigned to UK
February 4, 201511 yr Bell was Joker's highest rated recruit (before he got fired), but decided to go the JUCO route. Now he is back with Kentucky.

The talent gap has closed tremendously since Stoops has arrived. Clearly it's not on the level of the elite programs (Bama, LSU, Auburn, UGA), but they're starting to build the combination of depth and talent that it takes to be able to compete with the vast majority of the conference. It's a process. Step one was to get the talent level on par with the rest of the conference. That's starting to happen. Next step will be to show results on the field. I see them making a bowl game this year, which will definitely be a huge boost to next year's recruiting.
February 4, 201511 yr Bell was a big time prospect coming out of HS. He broke his leg and didn't qualify so went JUCO. He had offers from FSU, Clemson, Ole Miss, Miss St., and WVU among others....
