Bell was a big time prospect coming out of HS. He broke his leg and didn't qualify so went JUCO. He had offers from FSU, Clemson, Ole Miss, Miss St., and WVU among others....

 

Bell sounds like a big get. Given where this class was a week ago, I'll take it.

Those offers were Bell's in HS. He was a teammate of Miggins at Pearl River CC in Mississippi.

Cannot compete in the SEC with these types of classes. I get it, maybe a bit better, but when the rest of the conference is in the Top 30 it's time to look in the mirror. Hell, Louisville is mopping up in the south, they are currently 24th on 247 and appear to be taking the Alabama kids that Auburn and the Tide cannot. Future looks no better than the present.

 

I disagree, I think the future looks better than the present for several reasons. It takes time to build a football program. Even if Stoops kept all of the original committments, Kentucky would struggle to compete in the SEC. I think this upcoming season will determine a lot for the future. Need to start producing some wins soon.

The addition of Miggins makes some of those decommitments easier to swallow. UK has ended with a better class than I would have thought a few days ago. Kudos to Stoops and staff

And just remember it's how many stars you have when you leave, not when you arrive.

Looks like Stoops and staff have found a way to save what looked like a crash and burn type of class. Hats off to them on picking up a few last minute kids.

If UK is finished for the day. The ESPN Recruiting Class rankings has been changing all morning and if UK has been finished for 2 hours or more they still haven't made it into the top 40. Also when 5 of the other 6 teams in your division are in the top 40 along with your in state rival that doesn't bold well I don't think. Plus on next years schedule UK only has 4 games with teams that are not currently ranked in the top 40. Looks like another 4 or 5 win season (Which I hope it doesn't).

ESPN sucks, but I get your point. This class has turned out well for the Cats. They will be better next year and get better recruits out of it as well. This is better than anything Joker put out.

I do see on Rivals we are #34 and are ahead of Florida.

Well, that is as the day goes along they certainly will not go up, only down. And, quite frankly lets face it if every team but one or two teams in your conference out recruits you well that is a problem.

They still have to play the games. lol. It's how they play and are developed that counts. Heard Stoops say that 33 per cent of NFL players went undrafted. I would have never guessed it to be that high.

I believe it. I thought I heard them say on the radio today that not a single player on either the Seahawks or the Patriots this year were 4 or 5 star recruits. If accurate, that's pretty remarkable.
