January 9, 201412 yr Dont you have to feel for the Redskins fan base. Your owner is a trainwreck, your star player thinks shes a super diva, and then you hire this guy as your coach. Kinda reminds you of the Bungles 20-25 years ago dont it.
January 9, 201412 yr Well, considering the average NFL coaches career is 4 years (based on 2013 numbers), I'd bet the over, just slightly. NFL head coach is one job where at some point, you will most likely get fired, and fired pretty quickly. Unless the team owner's initials are MB...just sayin

Bellichek has a .660 winning percentage. January 9, 201412 yr You also left out the part where he got fired from the NFL, great coaches usually don't get fired. Had a losing record after winning the Super Bowl. And most fascination comes from MNF. It really isn't a big deal to me if you think he's great, just don't act appalled when I say he's above average/medicre Didn't Tom Landry get fired? Jimmy Johnson got fired also.

Hell, who was Marino's coach? That dude sucked.
January 9, 201412 yr It had more to do w/ losing Lynch and Sapp and age catching up to them. He did get a good season out of Brad Johnson though. Look what he did for Rich Gannon. The guy was a great offensive mind. I'll always love Gruden for finally bringing that Super Bowl victory to Tampa.

Even Jerry Jones isn't egotistical and misguided enough to fire a guy who just won his second straight Super Bowl. And yes, Jerry Jones did fire Tom Landry almost immediately upon buying the Cowboys.
January 9, 201412 yr Unless the team owner's initials are MB...just sayin Doing a quick check, the average Bengal Coach has lasted a little over 5 years. Take Marvin out of the mix and the Bengal average is.......4 years. If you're job is NFL head coach, you can pretty much count on getting fired.
