January 9, 201412 yr Put me in the camp of Bengals fans glad to see Gruden get this job. However, I will say this. I think Gruden may be a guy who will be a better head coach than an offensive coordinator. My only question is can he be tough and be respected, perhaps even feared, by his team. He doesn't strike me as having that tough edge you need as a head coach.

Sure he won a Super Bowl, but he has a .540 career winnin percentage. That's not a great head coach. He's above average but not great. If he was so great he'd be a head coach right now
January 9, 201412 yr Personality wise what is Jay Gruden like? Will RGIII still run the show? I think RG3 will ruin him personally. He doesn't seem mentally strong for some reasons. Maybe it because he's soft spoken.
