Maxpreps top 25 is a joke. I don't consider their rankings very credible either. BGP has the best poll, IMO.

I guess something about the bolded has something to do with your dislike.

The biggest issue with computer polls, even greater than just not considering games against out-of-state teams, is that at this point in the year, there is such a small sample size. Only compounding that is that games like say, Manual against Scott County (some starters for the Crimsons sat) or Dixie Heights' final game in the RBC (the last full they played, not the forefeit because they didn't have enough kids healthy and well enough to play), are weighted the same as any other games, but aren't very reflective of what was actually going on.

I guess something about the bolded has something to do with your dislike.

Is there regional rankings available?

No Collins????

Agree. Gaither is building something special. Kid could play when he was in high school (he broke Patrick Sparks' run of consecutive state tournament trips). For whatever reason, Gaither doesn't get a lot of credit for what he's done at Collins, but if I'm the AD of a big school, he's on my short list of names that I MIGHT program into my speed dial if I needed a new coach.

Agree. They only have two losses, Bullitt East and Madison Central.

I didn't think Bullitt East was going to be strong this year until I looked at their results. They have obviously dropped with the loss of Willis, but all hope isn't lost.

Agree, I was a little surprised they were doing so well. They could be like GRC was when we graduated Zollo and that group. Bopper, Fatkin, Rogers had to play backup, but were great players and ended up going to state again the next year.

When great players practice against others, it elevates everyone's game. (Example, look at Madison Central this year).

The kids who are facing top players in practice everyday get just as much "experience" as the players from other teams who don't play competition at that level night in and night out.

Agree, that is another team that has done well after loosing so much to graduation.

This...I'm actually cool with. Only thing I see is maybe Bracken up to 9th, but that's it really.

No Collins????

South Oldham ranked and got spanked by 18 earlier by Collins. Silly.
