December 14, 201312 yr Author Is there a value on ones life? Not a fan of small cars. I'm driving a Malibu right now, and apparently it's not considered a big car, but I am wholly uncomfortable. It seems like a behemoth! That's why the Focus is so perfect. It was just right. It was comfortable, easy to get in and out of, had huge trunk space, and had plenty of perks, like Sirius. I felt safe, and given the fact that I walked away from my wreck with nothing more than bumps, bruises and soreness, I think it is reasonable to say the Focus is a safe car. The Corolla's and the Prius models that I've researched all get 4* in safety...the bonus for me being the knee airbags. :lol:

I'm the one person in the entire city who breathes a sigh of relief when the traffic is crawling through there right now. :lol: In my Focus, I felt just fine going through there and would be irritated. In this Malibu...give me a traffic jam! :lol:
December 14, 201312 yr Glad you are ok. Make sure whatever you get is safe. You travel too many miles to have a plastic car. I'm on my 5th Impala and love them, but I know it is too big for you.
December 14, 201312 yr Agreed... They are bigger, safer, have more standard features and get better fuel mileage than the Camry or Sonata.. There is also a hybrid model Fusion that out performs the Prius... Is Commando really Mike Rowe?

RM, I drive a Focus and love it, too. It's perfect for my lifestyle. Just so you know, you can buy heated seat cushions! If I had more money, I might upgrade to a Fusion, for the roomier back seat when people ride with me.

Your mention of back seat room got me thinking. Since rockmom is a grandma isn't the Focus kind of hard to manage with the child seat? Heck, even my 02 Regal has too little back seat room form my liking when the little one is on board.

I more worry about the leg room for passengers.
December 14, 201312 yr I love what I see of the Fusion. Just worried about the price point. I have a 2011 Toyota Camry that I love. I had it narrowed down to a Ford Fusion or the Camry, but I got a really low price on the Camry and it only had 24,000 miles on it when I bought it. Couldn't be happier with my decision but the Fusion's seem really nice if you can afford them.
December 14, 201312 yr I really like the new Fusion's body style. Very sporty Me too, shouldn't be in the market for a new car for quite a while but when I am, the Fusion and Camry will be among the first I look at, unless of course I come into some money.
