The Purples show why they're Kentucky's best in 2013. They fell behind 14-0 to a fine Pulaski County team, then rattle off 49 points in a row!

To the Pulaski County fans: you are going to have a monster of a team the next two years. You also really threw a scare in us early on...it could easily have been 21-0 early. Your players have nothing to hang their heads over! Best of luck in the near future!:thumb:

To Purple Nation: never forget these past three years. Many things occurred these years for the first time, and I'm famous for saying that you can only do a first once. We may have a repeat of this someday, but these things were the first.

To other folks who cheered us on and supported us: thanx so much...it really felt great! We made a lot of friends on this long, strange trip! We really appreciate it!:thumb:

Please send prayers to the young man on the Purples' roster and his family, as they lost a family member today on what should have been a joyous occasion for them as well.

Congratulations Purples. Not too many teams get to enjoy a 3 peat, much less the kind of undefeated streak you are on. Keep it going.

PH, twist to your heart's content, but don't hurt yourself, my friend.

I wish I could have seen Pulaski play this season, I followed you from afar and hate that I had to miss this game today. That 6 hour drive home just wouldn't allow it.

As elated as I am for the Very Special 3Peat, I am just crushed for Bobby Nepf and his family. Deapest Condolences.

You man was a solid starter on the Dline and just was to get back on the field after injury from the Blackman game.

Just going to enjoy this moment! Thanks to all those Purple supporters out there all season! Its a great sport!

I am thrilled...these guys don't have the strength to give up LOL...they never give up!!! I am so proud of you all...celebrate, you deserve it....However, also be there for Bobby, he is really going to need you all....

What a run!! How about next year? What do the Purples lose?

Congrats Purples!

A Lot. 8 starters on O and D. Won't run the table next year, but can still be good.

My heart is heavy for the young man and his family; puts things in perspective.

Watusi is my new favorite fan! What a blessing you gave us.

Purplehaze wish it could have worked out for you to join us.

I will post more later. Blessings to all!

We may lose a couple in regular season next season but I am calling a "4-Peat"

Sadly, the Purples lose a senior class of 27 and the lion's share of their starters. However, some very good looking and experienced backups will be back next season. Both Kickers/Punters will be back as well. The DL looks to be a very strong group next season, and we will have something we haven't had for a while: an honest to goodness power back. We will not have this year's talent or experience, but we won't be anybody's pushover either. We will still be Bowling Green High...you know, that team that wears gold helmets with targets painted on them!:lol2:
