I was surprised as to how many open seats there was! I didn't see a lot of people selling tickets. Quite a few empty seats in the upper behind the bench.

Andrew Harrison shooting percentages: FG 48.1, FT 78.6, 3's 63.6. Man that dude has been awful. He is also averaging 11 points a game on a little over 5 shots a game. Seriously people find someone else to pick on.

20,305 was the reported attendance. Seemed like a lot less to me.

Wasn't Wall a turnover machine the first few months? Bledsoe had flashes but never was complete until Midway through conference play. Rose's first month you'd think he should go undrafted. The Harrison's will be fine.

All of them had a long way to go until late in the season. Wall was hitting buzzer beaters because they were almost getting beat by the Miami (OH) of the world. If Wall was at such top form it makes it even worst to need a buzzer beater against Miami. Fact of the matter is it's tough coming in as a frosh PG expected to do so much, they all have to go through some growing pains. All of them, no matter how talented.

My comments were actually meant more so toward Starks, but I agree that Andrew hasn't been bad. Tough to figure all this out with so many mouths to feed out there. I equate it to that first Heat season, tons of talent, trouble getting it all to fit. When it finally clicks and they all start working as one (its getting better every game) unit instead of five individuals they will be hard to beat.

I think this team is way ahead of Cal's other teams at this point in the season. They will be scary good by February, IMO.

Really? The Anthony Davis team seemed much more ahead than this team IMO. That National Championship team you could tell had great chemistry from the start, and was able to communicate and play defense.

I think it is relative. While that team looked good early, Teague was a turnover machine that could not lead the offense and Davis had yet to fully gel in to a force. He got pushed around and was relying solely on his physical ability. However, they had Lamb, Jones, and Miller to settle ship and keep things rolling. This year's squad has WCS and Poythress. Meh.

Don't forget about all the veteran leadership that Hood is providing to this team that is mentioned every game when he finally gets in with 1:30 minutes left when the Cats are up 25+

Yeah in a way I think that kind of sucks, I wish Hoody got some more time. I'm not just saying that because of the Ky factor either. I feel he hasn't received fair opportunity to prove himself. Anytime I see him play I notice he does everything the right way and doesn't hurt you at all. As far as the little things he does them as good as anyone, he just plays within the flow of the game and takes what's given to him. Makes the right passes, plays defense, and even in a couple blowouts gets out and runs the floor in transition. While he never turned into that knock down shooter we all thought he would, I don't think he's had a fair chance at that either. I'm sure he hasn't took more than 15-20 his entire career. I guess with all that said I'm just trying to say I think Cal need to give him a chance and get him in the rotation. I like Hawkins but I don't like having two PGs in there at a time with him and Andrew. Use Hawkins to sub Andrew, Young/ Hood for Aaron.

I love that he came back to the team (because we had room for him) but I don't think he deserves more time. He probably gets it handed to him in practice by guys ahead of him on the roster consistently. You all could be right, we don't get to see what goes down in practice. All I mean is that he's not going to hurt you by being in the game, so if he's not going to hurt you why not give him a shot? I could understand if subbing him immediately sent the team into a tailspin, but it doesn't or won't. Sometimes through all the sloppy play and out of rhythm offense I wouldn't mind seeing Hood in there to help keep the offense running smoothly and defense as well through communication. Anytime you see him on the floor he is working harder than anyone cutting, coming off screens, setting screens, etc. He does what you're supposed to do and runs the offense the way Cal has it drawn up. He can't do this and help the team learn what to do in this offense by sitting on the bench, the only way they can see how/when to cut and do the little things is when he's in there. He does the same on defense, constantly talks and communicates. Sometimes I feel the team needs his calming presence out there because again even though he's not going to do anything special, he's not going to hurt you either.
