Probably wishful thinking, if I was guessing. SK is the clear favorite, although I do think Dixie is more than capable.

I think DH is where SK was last year, very close but not quite ready. If Drew Moore progresses like Brennan Kuntz, they will be very tough next year.

Not a fan of high school football at all, haven't seen either team play ever, but am really hoping Dixie can win. The annoyance level of UK#1fan is greater than anything I've ever come across before. Makes me want Simon Kenton to fail miserably at everything they do. :lol2:

Actually mine was simply going off of which team I thought was better when Cooper played them. Dixie was by far the better team and is why I chose Dixie. Nothing to do with Uk#1fan

The one stat that I thought would look even worse is the SK Opponents Record. Thank goodness for Collins, NCC, CC, and Dixie winning some games to make the percentage look respectable.

 

 

Here is a scheduling tidbit as it relates to SOS. Simon played 6 teams that "qualified" for the playoffs as 4 seeds. You wouldn't think it possible to play that many teams that had that little success but it occurred.

Just read the article about Kuntz having the 5th best completion percentage in state history and only 1 interception all year (mind boggling)...kid is a true stud. Dixie's D did a nice job containing him in the 1st match up earlier this season and will need a similar effort Friday. The key for Dixie will be getting the offense rolling. IF they get the rushing game going, I really like their chances.

I was at both games. Cooper game was a 1 score difference until late into the 3rd qtr when SK scored their only time in that qtr.

 

Dixe wasn't close from the get go. Dixie was up by 27 before Halftime.
