Round 2 of the playoffs. X is looking to avenge an early season loss and Male is trying to get back to the championship game. In the first game X was missing their best offensive player, Charles Walker, who also leads the team in receptions, rushing yards, rushing tds, and total points scored.

Who wins and why?

Will a mod add a poll please.

The Tigers will win the rematch going away!

Is Walker going to play defense too?

Are Davis and Walker back for sure next Friday?

I would imagine that they will both be ready to go next week.

I saw my cousin, Wakefield, today and he asked was I going to the game Friday and he's said this time around is going to be Better than the last.

Wouldn't expect anything less.

Really. I'll take the Tigers by at least 2 touchdowns. My understanding is that Male is already looking towards the next game.......big mistake. Tigers will be fully loaded and ready to go

Wakefield is going to make plays, the key for X is to make sure that he doesn't beat them on offense and in special teams.

Coach Walsh and Co. tend to make good adjustments from the first game with an explosive offense. With X's offense as close to 100% as it can be, it will be a difficult night for the Male defense.

Last time around, the Tigers couldn't out score the Bulldogs but I believe with Walker playing they will. Defense doesn't have to be stellar but with a little help I can see at least a 10 point victory. No D equals identical game to the last one, only with X winning.

Agree. A couple of big plays were the difference makers.

Ironically, walker was hurt against Male last year and only played sparingly against them in last years playoff game. You can watch him on film but in real game speed it is totally different. It will be interesting to see where they line him up and how Male counters

He and Davis together for the first time healthy is going to make tons of difference. The bruise brothers

If X is smart they run it, run it and run it. Keep it ou of the Male offense hands

I think that X wins by 17.

Sounds very familiar to recent years, but a guy named James Quick was the one the Tigers were worried about stopping. No offense to Keion, but James was much more talented than him. St. X did a great job of stopping him the second time around all 3 years, but couldn't shut down all of Trinity's weapons.

This experience for Coach Walsh, will help him put together a game plan to help defeat Male. I hope they get some guidance from former defensive back coach Bart Bruner who stepped down with Coach Glaser this offseason out of loyalty to him. He was the key to those great defensive plans in the playoffs and getting the right players matched up on big stars such as Quick.

Can't wait for this sure to be instant classic on Friday night! I'm going to take the Tigers in a very very close one! 24-21 Tigers!!
