I certainly respect your opinion on the 4 teams advancing. I just disagree, there are some teams with only 1 win in the playoffs, possibly some winless teams due to the 4 team districts. I guess that my way of thinking is that a last place team, some with no wins at all have advanced should not be rewarded for finishing last. I have said that I would be for 3 teams going, mainly bc that would reward a District Champion with a 1st round bye plus eliminate a lot of embarrassing blowouts, no kid wants to be beaten, embarrassed by 50-60 points. Actually, two teams advancing would be o.k. with me as well, puts even more emphasis on the regular season, district play. JMO and as I said, I certainly respect your opinion.

Now...let's get ready for some football.

I do not think HHS wants a bye in the playoffs. Dale voted for 4 teams. Their backups and JV defense had a rough two outings. WC put 69 on them and Scott County scored 56 in the JV game. The backups and JV need the extra work. Also the Frosh had three games canceled this year. ;)

This is a get healthy week for HHS and they need it ! Gonna see a glimpse of some future stars in this one........ Kendall at RB, Daugherty at RB and Hergott at Qb could see lots of time on the ball side. If Austin Hergott is healthy, could we see Hergott to Hergott..... Dad would be proud!

The real story in this game is which is higher...the Highlands score or the split the pot.....

Talking about split the pot, last week at HHS $119. At Elder the week before over $3,000.

That is rather interesting. Why tonight, when they have not played much all year?

The Birds roll in this one.

HaHa, you are too much.

Highlands wins this one big and many JV's get some much needed time. You might even see a Frosh or 2 playing tonight. This week is typically when the Frosh who dress up get some reps.

Frosh? Why in the world would the Freshman be playing unless this is Lockem in Night.....Lol!
