What separates Ben and Eli in your mind?

 

Eli has more career passing yards and touchdowns. And has two Super Bowl mvps to go with his Super Bowl wins.

What seperates the two with me is simply passing ability. Ben can make things happen when a play bbreaks down. He is much more accurate and much higher career rating. Eli isn't known for making things happen when a play breaks down as often as Ben. Big Ben is a much better scrambler while Elii seems to force throws too much when it's not there.

 

I'm not a Big Ben fan at all, but he is much better than Eli in all areas.

Trying to figure out who didn't vote for Peyton. There are 14 votes for Brady and only 13 for Peyton. There is zero argument that can be made to justify not voting for him.

Joe Namath. Yes he tossed for 4K but his stats suck.. 65 QB rating, 173 TDs with 220 picks. He was a character though.

My point with Eli is that there's such a split on him. Not sure if he'll get enough votes. Big Ben is a definite. Playmaker. Tough. Wins . Eli has some of the same characteristics but fairly or unfairly he isn't going to get the same votes IMO.

 

Eli has the longest active streak of starts at QB. The third longest streak in NFL history behind Favre and Peyton.

 

So tough...check.

 

He has made some of the best plays in Super Bowl history and is well known for his 4th quarter heroics. So playmaker...check.

As for the rest of your post...Eli has made several plays under pressure throughout his career. I wouldn't expect you to know that because you probably rarely actually watch his games.
