Eli has more career passing yards and touchdowns. And has two Super Bowl mvps to go with his Super Bowl wins.

 

Ben's career QB rating was significantly higher than Eli's going into the season and he's taken his team to more SBs. I put him ahead but really not by much. I'm thinking they might both be stretches as their Super Bowl success fades in memories and the other QBs put up crazy numbers.

Sure there is. Some people consider Super Bowl rings and playoff success the measuring stick of a QB's career. Peyton is under .500 in the postseason, and has only one ring, even though he's had some insanely talented teams. Right or wrong, as the game gets bigger, he tends to play poor.

Again, it depends on what criteria you use. Personally, I agree with you, but I can also see the argument. Of course, if that's the reasoning for excluding Peyton, only Brady is HoF worthy.

And Jim Plunkett is 8-2 in the post season with two Super Bowl rings. And even with a losing record in the post season, only 8 QB's have more wins in the Post season than Manning. Peyton's entire body of work is just way too good to keep him out of the HOF

My point with Eli is that there's such a split on him. Not sure if he'll get enough votes.
