He took a butcher knife and basically sawed of his penis at the base. We were dispatched to his address for a man feeling ill. His pregnant wife met us out front and told us that he was upstairs and told us to be prepared for a shock. After he told us and showed us what he had done we asked him where his penis was. We were thinking to take it with us to the hospital much like you would with a severed digit or limb. We had not been trained on severed penises. He then informed us that he had flushed it down the toilet. I saw some bizarre things during my 23 year career but this is on top of the list.
