Like a few others I am obsessed with being on time.

My mental exercise:

Appointment at 9:00.

Takes 25 minutes to get there.

Might be traffic so I need to leave 35 minutes earlier.

Leave an hour earlier.

I don't mind if my food touches, but I will not eat anything until I have have everything organized, my tea sweetened,my baked potato toppings in place, bread buttered and jammed. eggs cut and ready, etc.

I also cannot stand anyone to eat something off my plate or drink from my glass. My wife does this all the time and it drives me crazy and is probably why she does it. It is really difficult when grandkids want something on my plate, I do it, but man is it difficult.

You'll never see me without a hat on, unless we are at a wedding and I'd wear one there too if my wife would let me.

I always arrive early, at least a half an hour. That's why the wife and I drive separate to the kids events.

Always have to be facing the exit when out at a restaurant.

Absolutely hate to dress up and wear a tie. Don't see how anyone can do that everyday.

Send my kids encouragement/motivational quotes on game days via phone.

Love to scare the wife, kids and dogs on a consistent basis, end up in the doghouse most of the time but its funny and worth it.

When walking with Mrs. TAC I wil only hold her hand if she is to my right side. I think it is because I'm left handed.

No #2 in public rest rooms for me either!

I set my alarm clock at the house about 15 minutes fast. I know it is fast, but it helps keep me on time.

My wife does the same. Defies logic as to how it works.

Without getting into details, extraordinarily detailed and ritualized counting compulsions.

Occasional improper and repetitive use of ellipses....

Never watched any part of Survivor, America's Got Talent, The Voice, Dancing With the Stars, etc. I have absolutely no interest in them.

My favorite sport by far is football and my favorite form of entertainment by far is the Broadway musical.

My alarm clock is about 10-15 fast as well. This got really annoying when the wife

started to do this with other clocks in the house and I was totally messed up.

"Yo, bro. You on the toilet again?"

That's funny.

It used to be what are you doing? Now they don't even bother to ask.

My right sock always has to go on first.

I always put my left shoe on first.

My phone always has to be on my person or within reach or I'll feel uncomfortable. (This one made basic training a pain.)

I can only fall asleep on my stomach. (There have been many nights where my exes would lay on my chest and I wouldn't sleep a wink since I was on my back.)

I feel uncomfortable if one side of the bed I'm sleeping in isn't against a wall. (I always sleep on the wall side.)

There are probably more but that's off the top of my head.

More than one at a time?

I like for things to be nice and even. Same on the left and the right.

Uneven haircuts, not just mine but anyone's, drive me nuts. Especially the women's cut where the back of their head is cut short and the hair hangs down their jawline in the front and it just slopes from back to front. Arrrgh, I can't take it.

I always go home after a haircut and get out the scissors and touch it up. I can't help myself.

Certain numbers are good and certain numbers are bad. (not to the mcpapa extreme, but he can chime in here on his own problems.) I like about any number that is divisible by 5, but those are the only odd numbers that I like. For example, I keep our fridge temp set on 35 and the freezer on 0. If somebody changes it to 36 or 37, it drives me nuts and I have to change it back. 40 would be OK, but that is too warm. I am the same way with the thermostat. I can tolerate repetitive numbers like 66, 44, etc. but only the even ones.

I cannot sit with my back exposed in a restaurant, meeting, etc. I really don't understand it but I like my back towards the wall.

I never turn on the light in the bathroom at home. If it is daylight, I pee standing up, if it is dark, I sit.

I am a little flexible on the above if I have to be, but it makes me uncomfortable.

I always go into the left side entrance at Wal-Mart/Meijer, even if what I'm going into the store for is closer to the right side entrance. Drives my wife crazy.

I just figured that was a function of your political leanings.

..........

In summary: we are a very timely, albeit certifiably nuts, group of people. This BGP tribe is a special one...in many, many ways.

I just figured that was a function of your political leanings.
